No matter how carefully I read "Shape Up", I'm always able to come back to it a few weeks later when I'm facing a new challenge, re-read something I already read carefully in the first pass, and internalize a new deep, important insight.

Today I'm getting a lot out of re-reading the "Show Progress" chapter, as I work on figuring out the best way to keep up with what my teammates are working on and where we're at with our projects without becoming an annoying nag they dread hearing from:

In general I've been taking away a ton of new insights re-reading the book from a manager's perspective now, rather than just a developer's perspective. Managing is a much more challenging job than I ever gave it credit for in the past 😬

Really, really loving HEY.com so far.

It feels like always being at inbox zero without any of the work.

Few of the things I’m loving about it that are making a big difference for me...
“Reply Later” is the killer feature for me so far, it’s so nice to just pull out the emails that need action and stack them up in one place to batch through once a day.

Much better than any sort of “snooze” feature I’ve seen in other tools, that never made any sense to me.
Screening senders is awesome.

I think everyone agrees that no one has the right to your time/attention just because they know your email addess, but there’s something about making this a first class concept that removes a lot of the guilt I had in the past about ignoring emails.

No breaking changes (of course), just `npm install tailwindcss@latest` and you're ready to go 💪
The new declarative layout utilities are the huge feature in this one for me 😍

You'll almost never need to do annoying things like add a margin to every item except the first, or check array indexes to conditionally render classes in a loop anymore 👏
