This commentator writes that standing for the anthem “gives a pass to injustice and inequality.”

As if kneeling during the national anthem is the only way to address injustice and inequality.
This quote is fascinating. You don’t have to be on board with BLM, but standing during the anthem suggests you’re opposed to ‘equality for all and ending racism.’

The leaps taken here are just wild to me.
