Not sure the quality of my feminism is the actual issue. It seemed fine when I privately offered to help CWJ bring negligence actions for failing to investigate rape; or standing alongside CWJ in a JR against the CPS.

I think it's more about my advocacy for trans human rights.
The Centre for Women's Justice does very difficult and vitally important work, by the way. None of this is on them.

Yesterday Scotland's Daily Mail lied to its readers and pretended a staffer at US hate group, the ADF, was a UN Human Rights expert.

Recently, other ADF staffers have been amplified by a number of well known UK based GC feminists.

I hope those UK GC feminists did not understand who and what they were promoting. But in the US GC feminists have formed alliances with the religious right.
It's not just here. Other religious right groups - allies of the ADF - have been influential on the attack on the LGBT+ community in Poland, which has now, with clockwork inevitability, morphed into an attack on the right of women to live without violence. opendemocracy.net/en/5050/ultra-…

Again and again I am told 'we dare not challenge Government because it will punish us'. This climate of fear it has created, to avoid challenge. It now (1) argues we cannot challenge it either and (2) makes at all to defend the lawfulness of its actions. goodlawproject.org/news/above-the…
If businesses, because they fear commercial reprisals, will not come forward, and @GoodLawProject (and by necessary logical extensionall other public interest actors) cannot litigate to protect the public purse against croney-ism, then we are *entirely* without legal safeguard.
Cummings/Gove offer no defence to the charge of croney-ism. They just say we cannot challenge their actions. They say that of the £840,000 they spent with their long time associates and the billions they have spent on PPE with eg confectioners, pest controllers and family funds.

Matt Hancock's lawyers have just written to us on our Clandeboye PPE JR telling us that when they said all but 40,000 gowns had now been delivered what they really meant was that all but 6,000,000 gowns had been delivered.
This is, umm, not the first time the generally highly competent @GovernmentLegal has made embarrassing u-turns on the basic facts around the PPE debacle. It speaks, I think, to the chaos and incompetence of their client.
