The Power of Just Five Questions

There are two types of questions, honest, and dishonest. Honest questions seek answers not yet known, with integrity and curiosity. Dishonest questions seek prescribed answers for wrongful reasons.
2) One of the ways that dishonest questions disguise themselves is by way of multiples. Many tens of questions, maybe even more than 100, this is a sure sign of dishonesty in questioning. When we seek the truth, we may only ask a few. BTL favors 5 or less.
3) A hallmark of dishonest questions is leaning. If you look, you can always see if a question has a leaning, or if it is sincere, open, actually seeking. How much do you like me? That's a leaning. What do you honestly think of me, no matter how negative or positive? No leaning.
4) The term for honest questions is: neutral. The question must NOT seek to affect the answer. Allow us to repeat that:

THE QUESTION MUST NOT SEEK TO AFFECT THE ANSWER.

Now, we turn to politics.
5) Between The Lines is a political polling outfit. If you wish to see how far we've come, just head over here:

6) If you go there, the first thing you'll see are our 5 questions. As we hope you'll head there, we won't repost all five right here. But, we will take them, one at a time, and discuss their meaning.
7) Will you vote?

Our founder, Pasquale Scopelliti, spent the majority of his lifetime NOT voting. He didn't believe in it. He didn't believe there was a dime's difference between the parties. He felt it was a shill game. He didn't vote.
8) As you can imagine, he changed his mind. We'll skip the reasons for the transformation for now. Between The Lines, as a polling entity, is dedicated to the sanctity and significance of the vote. There are key concepts required, in order to follow our mission.
9) Democracy. Republic. Constitution. These three.

A Democracy is NOT run by a king or an oligarchy. It is run by the majority of its voters.

A Republic is NOT run by the majority of its voters, alone. It is run by a selection of leaders, but NOT an oligarchy or king.
10) There are two types of Constitutional Republics. Those with a written Constitution, and those without a written Constitution. Great Britain is the great example of NOT having a written Constitution. The United States of America is the great example of a Written Constitution.
11) Written? The more meaningful term is Ratified. Of the 13 States that rebelled against Great Britain, 9 were required to ratify our Constitution. They did so in 1789.
12) What our Constitution empowered was a Democracy of majoritarian votes for all positions from Congressman, to Senator, to President. It balanced all interests out with something called the Electoral College. This allowed each State, large or small, an equal voice.
13) Over the centuries since our founding, our Constitutional Republic's Democratic structure has been tested countless times, and always come back standing. Our system works. It is the greatest system of governance ever created. It is the model for freedom, the world over.
14) There is a problem. Our nation has what is called a 4th Estate, The Media. It used to be called The Press. Its freedom of speech was enshrined in our 1st Amendment. A Democracy must have an organ of truth, separate from its government. It is this which we have lost.
15) And the manner in which we have lost the integrity of our 4th Estate is, believe it or not, false polling. Polls create news. Control the poll, you control the news. Bend the will of the news, and you affect the will of the people. Democracy ceases to enjoy integrity.
16) The founders knew that freedom and truth could not be separated. We hold these TRUTHS to be self-evident, they asserted. There can be no freedom without truth. Use lies as truth, control the perception of truth, and you can enslave the freest people that ever lived.
17) The answer to such evil, vile manipulation, is honest questions. Questions based upon true curiosity, with no agenda driving them. Such questions have the power of the search for truth captured within.
18) Here are our 5:

1) Will you vote?
2) Who for?
3) Who should win?
4) Who will win?
5) How do you identify: D, I, or R?
19) At BTL we will ask and answer those 5 questions, honestly. We will share our results, transparently. We will never tilt the scale in any way. All we seek is the truth.
20) In our next analysis, we'll discuss how we need your help to find true answers. For now, please accept and embrace our 5 questions, if they make sense to you. We assure you, these 5 are the pathway forward. Let's find these answers, together.
