Do you remember "15 days to slow the spread"?

Then another 30 days, then... apparently forever.

Our mistake was going along with that next 30 days (April).

The petty tyrants won't give up their power and their illusion of control.

The only answer is to stop complying. Sure, follow the same recommendations we've always followed to keep ourselves healthy: stay home when sick, wash your hands, keep your distance from people if you're vulnerable.

But stop complying with the visible ones, like masks. Don't be a jerk about it. Smile at people. Use any exemptions your local order allows.

Doctors who haven't bought into the panic should freely provide medical notes.

I don't know what to say to businesses because these counties are holding your license hostage.

Do what you can to push back and allow your customers to shop/eat, free of restrictions. Again, use any exemptions.

Governments have backed down when enforcement became too hard. Here, they poured mulch in a skate park, but the kids and parents kept cleaning it up. Within a week, the city had given up.

There is no evidence face masks work, and that's where we should draw the line.

We must demand that governments narrowly tailor their responses, and that means that the intervention must be NECESSARY. We don't know any such thing about most of the emergency orders.
