It is not helpful to make Wiley the focal-point of online social media anti-racism when David Duke, fmr Grand Wizard of the KKK (and his ilk), has been tweeting since 2009.

It is the racists, not their victims, who should vacate social media.

Silence is a questionable tactic against bigotry.

Instead of 48hours silence, we're going to shout out 48 organisations who are doing the difficult work of building a world free of racism, poverty & violence.

1. Sistah Space - @Sistah_Space
Grassroots charity offering specialist support to African/Caribbean heritage women & girls who have been affected by DV and many other issues.

2. North East London Migrant Action - @NELMAcampaigns
They campaign for the rights of migrants and provide all sorts of support to families without recourse to public funds.

3. Labour Gypsy, Roma & Traveller Campaign - @LabourGRT
Labour GRT are doing the incredibly difficult work of getting the Labour Party to stop being so racist towards some of the most brutalised communities in the UK.
