I have noticed a trend of cross dressing, which is gaining popularity in Northern Nigeria as well as other parts of the country especially among wannabee comedians.

I have known Nigerians to be conservative in political and social ideologies, but this has exposed an underlying hypocrisy, and queerness behind all manners of conservative postures and protests against liberal ideas or legislations, like abortion, same sex marriage and other

...pro choice positions. The Truth is, we are selective when it comes to matters of ideology. We are comfortable being conservatives in the open, pro lifers in our religion; Queer incline, liberal- pro choicers whenever it feels comfortable...

To that effect, we lack direction and we constantly blame others for our predicaments.

Take abortion for example, we will shed blood defending against pro choice legislation, but we access abortion whenever it feels comfortable, we are against same sex marriage or gay...

tendencies and we'll voice out our dissatisfaction towards these things, yet in our communities, there are people with big appetite for same sex, and gay relationships and we are convenient with it because it feels comfortable.

We are really a people who hide behind our sins and cast stones on others committing the same sins in different ways than ours ways.

This may sound unpopular, but the next time you feel uncomfortable, the next time you chose to attack anyone because they sin differently, check

...yourself, remember the words of Jesus Christ, "he who is without sin, let him cast the stone". That said, let me remind you that whatever you do, whether in your own way or their way, in the open or in the dark, you'll get the results -in the open.
