More evidence that tocilizumab does not work in mild to moderate hospitalized cases.

All favorable results to date have been reported in moderate to severe cases.
That said, not all reported results are favorable, even in appropriately screened cohorts:

I have noticed a tendency for anakinra to perform better in studies than tocilizumab. I suspect it is related to neutrophil infiltration and NETosis.

Colchicine is a cheaper option with even more favorable results in a Greek RCT:

Anakinra also seems to have some beneficial effects in myocarditis.

Linking both anakinra studies I have seen to date.

Similar results from each, but second one is small and neither are RCTs.

Would be nice to see a larger RCT on this. I think it likely makes sense for suppressing neutrophil infiltration and NETosis.
