I'm sorry, but this is straight up false. Looting and rioting was not the result of one alleged bigot breaking windows.
.@yamiche, Umbrella Man was breaking windows May 27. This video was May 26. How does this narrative that he started the rioting and looting make any sense?
There's no doubt in my mind that several perpetrators from several groups were responsible for a ton of the violence, yes, even some wn biker gang would not surprise me.

But this narrative bubbling up that a single guy was what popped off the riots in Minneapolis is pure crap
And, I don't know if y'all remember, but the first narrative they expected us to believe was that the POLICE vandalized the Autozone on May 27. kstp.com/minnesota-news…

Guys, I’m not saying that there’s no obvious hygenic benefit to wearing a mask. I’m saying that there are so many ways to get this disease, it’s wrong for the media to make these deaths ABOUT masks.
It’s also wrong to imply that everything will be A Okay if you just wear a mask. It just reduces the risk.

The idea that we ended up on some blacklist because of some compliance partnership with law enforcement to stop extremism or election interference is just absurd.

We have accredited personnel all over Washington, DC. We are not ISIS.
Specifically we struggled with search slowly dwindling until May 4 exactly. We broke down the analytics. The May 4 flat line is clearly the result of the human hand in the process.

As Breitbart breaks down here, they felt a similar effect.

There were even instances in which we broke national news, and would not show up in the first page of search results for that particular topic. In fact not in the second, third, fourth or fifth.

Meanwhile, outlets that aggregated or syndicated our work did.

During Charlottesville, our reporters on the ground there got caught in the middle of a brawl in which a group of neo nazis pummeled a young black man in a parking garage.

Later, the FBI asked us directly and bluntly for all the footage we had of the incident ...
There were several other reporters there, but we ended up being closest, from two angles. The incident, a brutal felony assault, happened in plain view of the public.

It never crossed my mind not to give law enforcement our footage.
Later, four of the people identified in videos of the beating were sentenced to prison.
