This is actually an important Q, IMO, Ryan. It sounds like the stuff of crime fiction novels or legal thriller movies, but ... I hope Biden’s transition team has serious discussions about the prospect of seeking an arrest warrant for Trump the minute Biden is sworn in.
Mueller gave us a blueprint for prosecuting Trump. There are several felony obstruction of justice crimes documented in Vol. II of the Mueller report. The evidence supporting those charges FAR EXCEEDS the probable cause showing necessary to obtain an arrest warrant.
IMO, any judge reviewing an affidavit in support of an arrest warrant for obstruction of justice that included the evidence in Vol. II would be obligated but their of office to order the issuance of an arrest warrant. Of course, there are so many other crimes that are similarly
supported by evidence satisfying the probable cause standard: conspiracy to commit campaign finance crimes; witness tampering; obstruction of congressional investigations; bribery; false statements; etc. if we hesitate to hold this deeply corrupt & criminal president accountable
for his crimes - crimes that have victimized and traumatized our people and our democracy - then we are writing the story of the (eventual) end of our republic. No turning the other cheek. No bygones be bygones. #NotThisTime

There are so many questions that start: “Can Trump be tried for . . .” One of the frequent answers is something like, “Well, there’s no precedent, so probably not.” BREAKING NEWS: the only way to CREATE PRECEDENT is to take a maiden legal voyage. Other legal eagles may disagree

The Stone commutation is invalid & improper. It violates the spirit of the Constitution (even if not the letter of the Constitution). I contend it’s the product of a criminal conspiracy & constitutes obstruction of justice (& a perversion of justice). But here’s the tough part -
How can it be challenged? And by whom? To challenge something in court, you need “standing.” This means you must be personally/directly impacted by the act, in this case, the Stone sentence commutation. Let’s set aside the obvious argument that ALL AMERICANS are affected -
