There was this guy in school.
He can't talk to you from a distance, He enters your personal space and talks in your face.
This guy was 2 years above me in school then and he didn't know that people called him "Emma Mouth Odor", the name was changed to protect his identity

Emma was a brilliant guy, but the name just went ahead of him. It was a brand
I wanted to learn some things from him, he knew some things I did not and I really needed to know.
But the mouth odour was a problem I could not ignore and I couldn't tell him, because na my senior

I used to go to class for him to put me through some difficult sessions, so I would get Clorets chewing gum and offer him.

In my mind I would shout:"Oga, the clorets is not sleep o! Chew it!!! So I can survive!

Soon, my friends and I were looking for someone to represent us at the school authority, we formed a new club
We had names we had decided were the best fit for our club, naturally, I mentioned Emma.
One said, so he can use mouth odour to piss off the lecturers abi?

Emma was #ThisClose to not getting that role, I had to fight tooth and nail for him to be given a chance.
On the day of the interview, I bought Clorets chewing gum for everybody including Emma, make e no be like say I singled him out.

That club is still growing strong year on year. I have done something well at least. It was due to my belief in a person and also the faith I had in Clorets chewing gum to get the ball rolling at least.
