Let me tell you about Garden Egg production.
One of the easiest crop to grow even in your backyard.
It can be eaten raw or as a sauce.
It's good for your liver & ulcer patients.
Doesn't spoil easily & shorter maturity period.

Garden Egg got its name from it's egg shape and white colour.
To plant garden egg pls ensure you plant your garden egg seed early morning or late in the afternoon. Plant 2seed per hole and ensure the soil is loamy and loose for root penetration. Organic manure is good for G.E

Garden Egg is temperature sensitive it won't produce fruit when the temp is too low or too hot. Hence green house is a No No to cultivate garden egg.
They start fruiting/flowering 7-8weeks of planting and they will be due to harvest after 10-12weeks of flowering.

rtant for G.E.
Harvest your G.E when the size is same with market size and the skin is smooth.
Harvest like twice a week and the more you harvest the more it fruits
Note. Don't harvest G.E with hand use a knife to cut it, pulling with your hand can damage the stem.

If you observe good cultivation procedure you can harvest from a GE plant for another 4-5months.
The green Colour fruit has higher chlorophyll content which is good for your liver while the white variety is easily digestible.
You can sell both the leaf (medicinal) & the fruit.

It doesn't spoil easily & garden egg market is currently booming.
It's very easy to cultivate one of the reason I like it for me it's like a fast food for me on the farm.
You can never go hungry when you have a garden egg plant on your farm😊😋
