Our country needs serious attention and help, we need an overhaul, a system reboot, we need a change, real change I mean.

You'll agree with me that our leaders are caught up in a vicious cycle of bad governance, corruption, incompetence and they don't know how to come out of it.
For the Nigerian citizenry, it is even more precarious. The Nigerian masses are entangled in a Bad Romance with ethnic and religious lords; that they don't think as patriots or rational beings.

Nigeria is not measuring up to expectations.
In deed, we have fitted perfectly into the narrative of the sleeping giant. I'll add, dying Giant of Africa. We do badly and poorly from security, to economy, healthcare, education, religion and so on.

What is more annoying is how delusional, wicked and unsympathetic the
handlers and apologists of the government have continued to patronize those in power against the common good of our nation by playing the political correctness cards. We no longer have people patriotic enough to speak truth to power.
Either for fear or because they are not without their own sins. I believe most 'Nigerians' with a voice have suspended common sense and reasoning and mortgage their conscience and morality, without which, they'll never get to be able to put up any defense for the failure of
the system we now live under called Nigeria.

It seem those in this government want to run the country dry and wreck it beyond recovery as they insist on maintaining status quo, against all caution and chastisement from different, few, leaders of thought across [divide].
By now, everyone has tasted what this government is capable of doing and can adjudge for themselves; but for anyone to continue to insist on claims that Gen. Buhari or APC have fulfilled their 2015 campaign promises, is absurd, a manifestation of a dead conscience and deep seated
evil intentions to continue to destroy the hope of Nigeria ever getting better.

It will be better if those in the corridors of power begin to accept that they don't know how to fix things. Give way for Nigerians to find solutions for the obvious problems you have failed to fix
and apologize for wasting so much time offering words only.

I have come to realize that so many people insisting that Nigeria is on the right track and coasting for better days are the most unfortunate of us, because they know better how rotten the system has become under the
I find it funny and appalling too to hear anyone calling himself a Buharist. I may understand why members of the BMC are doing what they are doing - money. They have sold their souls to the devil. But those doing what they are doing in defense of Buhari's administration,
on the basis of ethnicity, region or religion, what's their business?

So many young, brilliant and promising Nigerians acting as SAs, or PAs are caught up in the web of bad leadership; as they are saddled with the responsibility of doing the dirty jobs for their bosses,
while waiting for their shot at power. This type of mentoring portends a great danger to the future of this country. We'll wake up one day to a generation of badly mentored young men and women expecting to take over in the near future, which spells doom for the future of Nigeria.
Let me not talk about the political strategists who lost out on ethics and professionalism and are comfortable at their damage control jobs, instead of bringing progressive ideas that will move this nation forward.
In conclusion, I have come to realize that the APC government across the country and the central government are one(s) that only acts right when under pressure, to get anything right, they must come under intense pressure from the people, and if left alone by themselves,
they don't care what happens to the ordinary man. The only time a semblance of wisdom, good governance and thoughtfulness is visible in the actions of the government is when the people either protests heavily or challenge through the social media and press their actions of same.
Unfortunately, we're a reluctant people that prefer to be busy on social media discussing seasonal event; issue, after issue away from real issues that are capable of holding government accountable. We go from one to the next without necessarily finding any useful solutions.
We trivialize and make jokes about everything, from the insecurity situation of the country, to corruption, and fraud that goes on in public places, only to move on to the next topic as soon as the news is broken.
Everyday I pray for Nigerians, I pray that they wake up one day to realize what powers they have in their hands and voices, which can bring about the necessary energy to hold government accountable and to pressurize the same into doing right. We can't continue #Suffering&Smiling
