Believing that a 77-year-old presidential nominee can find *any* running mate who doesn't "want his job" is a lot more gullible even than believing in Scientology. They *all* want his job. Only some of them could do it.
And if there really does exist a potential VP who "doesn't want the job of president" - then she jolly well should herself *refuse to be considered* for the VPcy, since that job's single most important function is to be ready at any moment to step into the presidency.
I assume that any potential VP who says "she doesn't want the top job" is just performing, George Washington style. "Personally, I'd rather farm, but if duty calls ... "
