Oh and the activists say any pause to consider the rushed proposal is support of racism. It’s absolutely insane.

I’m sure this will go well for say, people who wear red hats or are Christians. Or heaven forbid are a black conservative or libertarian. I mean, I’ve seen adults treat each other worse over hats.
People who are asking good faith questions re budget impact (it’s a $1m+ increase) are being called "anti-Christian” by the activists because having your faith questioned over not supporting a political initiative subsidized by your tax dollars is totally Christian.
My point is if the district is so bad, then why should they get ANY of our dollars? Just defund the damn thing. Get a voucher and send your kids elsewhere, if it’s this bad. If they oppose this then, to use the activists’ logic, they support racism or something.

I almost feel bad for some of the school board members having to sit here for three hours to hear all of this but then remember that some of them ran on a platform of identity politics, so here you go.
