Latest @NavigatorSurvey tracking poll out: Today's release hit an unfortunate milestone in that more than half of Americans (51%) now say they know someone who has been infected with coronavirus. 
It's taken some time, but the public has now largely concluded that the United States' response to the coronavirus is worse than most other countries in the world. 63% now say that, up from 57% in late June and 51% in mid-May.
As such, the President's pandemic approval rating remains deeply under water -- 38% approve, 60% disapprove, with roughly half of voters (49%) "strongly" disapproving.
There is widespread support for mask mandates as 78% of voters support a law requiring people wear masks. Notably, that number remains fairly high (64%) even if you attach a fine to it.
And despite Trump wearing a mask that one time, voters aren't really buying the charade. The vast majority of voters (even Republicans!) describe Trump as "anti-mask."
The public continues to support more aggressive social distancing measures -- it's been above 50% on this since the most recent resurgence of cases really hit home.
Only about a third of the public supports opening K-12 schools at the end of the summer. The data with parents is not really that different than the public overall.
Lastly, this vaccine data is sobering and shows the uncertainty of how the public might react as vaccines are developed. We're going to dig a bit more into this in future weeks.
