There are a lot of silly positions we are required to take in this politically correct age, but among the silliest is that Beyoncé is some kind of staggering artistic genius. Everything she does receives unanimous worshipful praise. She’s a middling pop star. Get a grip folks.
I listened to some of the tracks on her latest album. They’re fine. It’s pop music. Katy Perry caliber. I admit I’m not the audience for this stuff but don’t tell me this is a “masterpiece.” Come on.
Sample lyric from one of the most popular tracks on the new album:

This is not brilliance, folks. It’s barely mediocrity.
By the way, Billboard called the above song “jaw dropping” and the best on the album

[Thread] I'm not a journalist. I'm an opinion guy. But twice in the last two weeks I've had to write journalism pieces because the people who are supposed to be covering these subjects refuse to do it. BLM has almost the entire media, left and right, scared out of their minds.
In this piece, I looked into the number of unarmed killings by cops in 2019 and compared it to overall arrests. I also investigated the specific circumstances of each killing of an unarmed black man. The popular narrative is bogus. I prove it here.

In this one I go through all of the details of the George Floyd body cam footage. There's been a little bit more reporting on this, especially by right wing sites, but when I first posted the article there was very little being said about the story.

George Floyd told cops his mom just died. She’d been dead for two years. He said he’s too claustrophobic to get in the police car. He was just sitting in a car. He said he couldn’t breathe and was going to die while he was still standing.
He screamed “ow” like he was in pain when they were barely touching him. A lot of this is probably because he was high on three different drugs. But the point is that cops hear bullshit from suspects all day every day. This can make it harder to tell when they’re being serious.
And so when he was on the ground saying he was going to die, it was no different from what he was saying while he was standing, or what he was saying in the car. The cops still may have been negligent but this is all relevant context that will make a murder charge hard to prove.

CNN saw the body cam footage two weeks ago. They published an article describing it which we now know was grotesquely misleading. They never mentioned that Floyd was obviously high and delusional and was resisting from the first moment the officers arrived on the scene.
They also don't emphasize that the officers pleaded verbally with him dozens of times before using force.
