When 12 Salagramas r worshiped together in a place,that place is known as MAHAKSETRA .
By having 12008 Salagrama this place is sacred as thousand Mahakshetras.

These Salagramas/ Shaligram were brought from the bank of Gandaki river in Nepal.
The Murti is so huge that no one can see the whole Vigraha at once. One has to see Him through three different Doors.
