In Social studies curriculum of SNC, students will be taught about:

•Culture

•Diverse cultures in Pakistan

•Interfaith Harmony

• Respect for diversity in cultures of Pakistan

Will this encourage tolerance or extremism?
Historical Personalities (up to provinces to decide; SNC recommendation is not binding) which will be taught to students:

•Edhi (world-renowned philanthropist)
•Ruth Pfau (non-Muslim)
•Nelson Mandela (non-Muslim)

Will students get radicalized after learning about them?
Students will also be taught about:

•Civic rights & responsibilities

•How to remain responsible online & deal with difference of opinion

•Fundamental human rights

•Respect diversity, freedom of speech & tolerate difference.

•Importance of dialogue to resolve conflcits
General Knowledge curriculum of Grade I-III includes:

1/ Water scarcity & importance to conserve water

2/ Pollution and rationalization of natural resources

3/ Forestation

4/ Endagenered Animal protection
This will be taught under the "Responsible Citizenship" topic of General Knowledge.

Sadly the debate around SNC is focused on Islamiat and no mention of these things.
