@cherokeenatv46 @JohnWHuber @FDRLST I found everyone connected to anything connected to SpyGate suspicious, but I had withheld judgment on Schrage. I had, however, concluded the conference was a set-up, but that could have been Halper's doing. 1/
@cherokeenatv46 @JohnWHuber @FDRLST 2/ Schrage backstory indicates the conference wasn't a set up...at least not a set up to get Page. I still think Halper used it to push his anti-Trump ideas to Clinton's team. And we now know that it ended up being used by Halper (b/c of Dearlove) to target Page & Trump.
@cherokeenatv46 @JohnWHuber @FDRLST 3/ Part of the reason I believed conference was a set up is b/c academic conferences usually are planned a year in advance, especially with big wigs like Albright, and during academic year. (Although to clarify Schrage also said Halper wanted it canceled).
@cherokeenatv46 @JohnWHuber @FDRLST 4/ So, in sum, I was wrong about purpose of conference BUT right in outcome, and 100% right about Cambridge 4. Also, it is horrible Schrage was dragged into SpyGate along with a lot of other innocents.
