@McAdooGordon Garland shows how he's leaning by adopting this "the harm is just going to a hearing" trope.

I wish Wall would say even Article III judges do not have limitless power to "just" order "hearings"
@McAdooGordon And now Griffith follows up in a like vein. "The district court just wants to ask questions? What's the harm?"

Wall: No. That is what this court got WRONG in Cheney.

THANK YOU
@McAdooGordon FINALLY: Wall says, "What the harm" is not a constitutional principle
@McAdooGordon And Millett comes in from the left again. "Just don't answer. Just don't do what the judge says. What's the harm for purposes of mandamus?"

They refuse to acknowledge the holding in Fokker, they refuse to wrestle with Cheney. "What's the harm?"
@McAdooGordon And they all keep raising this "briefcase full of money" hypo with in and of itself DEMONSTRATES EXACTLY THE KIND OF HARM WE'RE TALKING ABOUT.

All of America has now accepted the oft-repeated judicial framing that Barr is seeking dismissal of the charges because of corruption.
