"South Asianism" been pushed with an agenda so that "South Asian American" from zero usage has overtaken "Indian American."

"South Asian" exists to erase India. It is a racist term of cultural denial, as offensive as the "n-word.". We must resist it.

Especially in the lead up to the American elections, the term "South Asian" will get thrown around a lot for Kamala Harris. She will herself use it.

We must tag and tar it widely as an offensive racist term. Would they start calling Italian-Americans "South European Americans"?
Please tag anyone who uses the term "South Asian" or "South Asian American" and point out this is a racist and offensive term to Indian Americans.

No, this is not true. "Red Indian" is an offensive term. The term for them today is Native Americans or American Indians. Indian American was always used for people of Indian origin.

Why so? As an Indian American I find the term "South Asian American" deeply offensive.

If that is true, the question is how they have been able to replace the term "Indian American" in mainstream media with "South Asian" so effectively.

Good video. Needs to come out in different media, from different writers. We need to call out "South Asian" as a term of cultural negationism and abuse.

Need some people to volunteer and make a video of Indian Americans across a broad spectrum young and old to come on video and say that they are Indian American and not South Asian.
