[Thread] Reposting this to be more precise than my previous post. The guy who assaulted the Macy’s employee, claiming the employee said the N word now admits that the story was a lie. However he says his brother is the one who made it up.

Now in a plea deal the assailant, who brutalized an innocent man, will not have a felony record. He’ll be charged as a juvenile even though he’s a legal adult.

This means he could very likely get probation instead of prison. The official sentencing will be in September. The brother who egged the assault on and filmed it has so far been charged with no crime at all.
This is a travesty of justice and the implication is that felony assault is all but legal if the assailant so much as believes he heard a racial slur. Needless to say reverse the races on this story and the attacker is looking at many years in prison on federal hate crime charges
He’ll be prosecuted under the Holmes Youthful Training Act, which apparently allows adults up to the age of 24 to be charged as “youthful trainees” and avoid a criminal record even for violent crimes like this
