Exclusive: How the RCMP, CBSA, and Trudeau Government Lost U.S. Trust in the Fentanyl Fight thebureau.news/p/exclusive-ho…
Veteran law enforcement officials—both active and retired—from the United States and Canada have come forward with explosive allegations suggesting that Canada’s federal government may have systematically obstructed investigations into the highest levels of Asian organized crime. According to these sources, American agencies, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, have grown so alarmed by suspected corruption and legal loopholes in Canada that they have effectively sidelined Canadian law enforcement from sensitive investigations and intelligence-sharing.
“It was mind-boggling. The Americans would say, we have good reason to suspect that this particular CBSA officer is corrupt,” a Canadian policing expert said. “This information would be provided to higher-ups in CBSA with the understanding that this particular CBSA officer is not to show up at any future joint meetings. So eventually there would be a meeting, and the CBSA officer in question would show up at the meeting. The lead American investigator would end the meeting before it started. The Americans would shake their heads in disgust and disbelief.”

Isn’t it becoming more obvious the LPC leadership race is just a baton pass, prorogue move was basically illegitimate, race is kind of fixed. Canadian citizens should be asking questions and protesting.
2. I think the MP Chandra story puts LPC brass in a major bind. Indications are this must relate to Foreign Interference; if not some favouritism for Carney? But if FI, why is Chandra still in Caucus? How did the Party brass find out, if it’s FI? What will Justin Trudeau, and LPC Board say about this?

Breaking: CSIS warned Health Canada of "insider threat" from Wuhan Institute-tied scientist Dr. Qiu Seven Months Before Lethal Ebola Shipped to China thebureau.news/p/breaking-csi…
As early as 2013, Keding Cheng filled out an application for the PRC’s “Science and Technology Innovation Talent Program of Henan Province,” requiring applicants to “passionately love the socialist motherland [PRC]” and maintain Chinese citizenship.
By October 2017, CSIS’s investigation found, Qiu had discussed employment under the Thousand Talents Program with leaders at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, "who believed [Qiu's] application was very important for WIV's future development," according to the report. Her January 2018 application to WIV indicated that she had been working with the Beijing Institute of Biotechnology, part of the Academy of Military Medical Sciences (AMMS), since April 2016.

True, and The Bureau was first on this POV.
Nor did “Special Rapporteur” David Johnston value this Privy Council Office “Special Report” or the 100 underlying CSIS reports and other crucial Canadian government records that I accessed.
Why?
Canadians must come to their own judgments.
In Johnston’s case the question could be is there a conflicting relationship with Beijing’s United Front?
I was hearing from government investigators that Canada’s elections are being undermined and Justin Trudeau’s party was especially implicated.
Part of my job was to learn whether it could be true that Trudeau’s government was ignoring serious foreign threats to our democracy and Chinese influence that touched his own office for electoral reasons.

Things that were known but powerfully reinforced this week. India is certainly interfering in Canada but it’s not even close, Beijing’s interference in Canadian elections and evident connectivity to the LPC especially, is off the scales. Russia is a fairly minimal player here.
Canada has a problem (as I’ve been told for years) that bureaucratic heads of CSIS and RCMP are in danger of being under the thumb of the powerful ministers and especially the PM and his office. Think about it. Intelligence or law enforcement could be asked or better yet,
suggested; hinted at, or simply understand for Ottawa career reasons, what threats to focus on and what threats to ignore. (Hey can you juice up a threat timeline on the protests in Ottawa a bit, maybe there is a Russian funder or something we can put in that timeline?; … Hey

1. Sometimes it seems the idea isn’t fully getting through what United Front community groups in Canada are and why they surround party and government leaders. One can read the official documents of these groups online and understand they are literally Chinese Communist Party. Image
2. More to come on this and what should happen to leaders that knowingly accept Chinese Communist fundraising.
