this is extremely my jam
Jared Kushner ran circles--I mean he just absolutely lapped these ppl--around the Mideast hands messing up US policy in the region for decades. Same goes for Amb Friedman. That is no longer up for debate. The only question is whether those who criticized them will show humility.
There was never an argument against the J'lem embassy move. It was embarrassing that ppl tried. For some reason they're still talking.

I understand capitalizing races, though I don't intend to do it myself, the way we capitalize Right and Left as general categories to avoid confusion. But you should *absolutely not* be doing it because your publication has decided that 'they're all the same.' Are you nuts?
It reeks of Africa Is A Country. And have you met Europe? Is the lesson of 20th century history that light-skinned Europeans are interchangeable?

Clarity is often a good reason to do something. Racialism never is.
Honestly I don't love capitalizing Right and Left but there are common phrases, such as 'moved right' or 'moved left' that, as the editor of a politics and culture magazine, would require more words for the same amount of clarification. Neither option seems perfect so you choose.

The reactions from a disturbing portion of the left press to the revelations about Bari--that she was harassed out of the NY Times by rank antisemitic bullying--has been more rank antisemitism
Lefty writers seeing that it's open season on Jews
You'd be surprised how easy it is to criticize a writer without reference to their religion! Lots of ppl on here have focused on Bari's work/ideology. But a segment just can't get their brains working properly.
