This QAnon nonsense is now more than just a passing internet conspiracy/trend. It’s a full blown delusional cult. The QAnon followers on this platform are high in number and it seems to be attracting more people. Why?

The pandemic and uncertainty has been a challenge. QAnon gives the terrified comfort someone is in control. It also, like many conspiracies, gives a sense of purpose and community to lonely souls. People have been cooped up. YouTube / Facebook QAnon nonsense is an easy click.
Twitter has made an effort to try and get a hold over these QAnon accounts, but they are still here and are making a lot of noise about this stuff.
These people are terrified and as uncertainty with this virus continues, people are seeking something meaningful.

This dude in Denver is still convinced PizzaGate is real and has visited Denver TV stations while dressed in a gorilla suit. He has a disturbing obsession with local reporters and is angry they are not covering QAnon theories. 
There are the harmless, which I think this dude above likely is (but of course I don’t know for sure). But then there are the people who are seriously sick and believe they are the chosen few to carry out some sort of demented act in the name of QAanon.
