Freedom for me is when my dissent and disagreement isn't labelled as disrespect, when my loyalty isn't questioned by my own parents and when freedom of speech means being able to give my opinion freely at least at my own home.

Freedom in its truest sense is a pipe dream, and we have to constantly struggle in order to get a step closer to that dream like our forefathers did.

Freedom for me is being able to walk on the street any time I want, without my parents worrying about me, & checking up on me. It is, being able to make my point in front of my relatives without them screaming & judging me until I stop.

The freedom our forefathers achieved was at cost of lives of loved ones,it was the struggle of not just 200 years, but victory over fear we had.
This Independence day let's pledge to not let any individual suffer any of it again.

To me, freedom means to be able to do whatever I want to do, walk around freely without worrying about the safety of yourself and those you love. Unlike other countries, you don't have to wonder whether you are going to live through the day.
