In Oct ‘17 the FBI’s Bill Priestap appears to have been telling Adam Schiff in undisclosed House Intel briefings that the Page FISA wasn’t almost entirely reliant on the Steele dossier AND in Feb ‘18 he was also telling Senate Intel that Steele’s “primary sub source” was legit 🚨

Priestap also agreed with MI6 that any derogatory information they gave to the FBI about Steele would not be written down (meaning it couldn’t be disclosed to the FISA court or Congress.) This in a series of London meetings he claimed not to be able to remember the details of
Comey also swore under oath that it was Priestap who advised that Congress should be kept in the dark about Crossfire Hurricane, even excluding the Gang of Eight. Previously most interpreted this as Comey throwing Priestap under the bus to help himself. But what if that was true?
Priestap also appears to have provided a character reference for Strzok to the FBI’s disciplinary office, calling Strzok “gifted” and trying to avoid him being fired (only disclosed in court papers, don’t believe anyone has ever reported this, as Priestap is unnamed)
UPDATE: According to @LindseyGrahamSC, Priestap has *refused* a voluntary interview and will be subpoenaed to appear before the Senate
