Tekgence, an H-1B dependent firm, sends an email out to prospective clients containing a list of H-1B/OPT workers (all from India) available for LEASING.

There are literally tens of thousands of these mom-&-pop IT staffing firms in the US who profit off leasing H-1B workers.
The H-1B/OPT is always sold as the program that imports the “best and brightest” foreign workers from across the world. But take a look below at the salaries being paid for H-1B workers sponsored for green cards (all from India) with “Master’s degree” & “6-12 years experience”.
The truth is that these H-1B/OPT workers at Tekgence (all IT staffing firms for that matter) are ordinary workers doing jobs that don’t require any specialized knowledge, let alone a college degree.

Take a look at all the unranked universities they got “Master’s” degrees from:
IT staffing firms like Tekgence source workers directly from India & bring them on H-1Bs, or they recruit OPT grads within the country who graduate with “Master’s” degree from low tier universities & have no prospects of landing lucrative job offers: motherjones.com/politics/2017/…
Once they have recruited these foreign workers, the next step is to find clients that they can LEASE them to. In order to make these workers seem attractive enough to lease, these IT firms will fabricate their resumés with phony work experiences & qualifications:
In a nutshell, this is how the IT staffing firms, aka body shops, are exploiting the H-1B/OPT. Their business model is to LEASE these indentured foreign workers & profit from the labor arbitrage. If you want a green card sponsorship, you can bribe them.

It’s one major scam.
Back to Tekgence, they applied for a PPP loan and received $350K-$1M to retain 46 employees.

We would be willing to wager that those 46 employees that the US taxpayers paid to protect from not losing their jobs were all foreign visa workers.
