F-1 student visa program has turned into an immigration pathway program especially for foreign students from India.

Education is just a ruse. The goal is a job & permanent immigration.

Universities act as de facto immigration centers. Charge high $ to provide OPT permits.

Companies every year then come and recruit international students with OPT permits. Why? Because:

- Tax savings (FICA exemptions)
- No minimum wage requirement for OPT workers
- Destitute indentured workers who will do anything to please employer in hopes for H-1B sponsorship

Summary:

Universities started looking for other revenue streams. International students is a lucrative option because they pay full-freight.

Bill Gates lobbies DHS in the nineties to create OPT.

A guarantee of a work permit opens the floodgates of intl. student enrollment.

The government incentivizes employers to hire OPT foreign grads over American grads due to tax savings, no min. wage requirements, & indentured worker for at least 10 years.

Universities love OPT because creates huge pipeline of international student applicants.

As a result of these policies, American graduates & workers in STEM have had to pay the ultimate price:

-Hiring discrimination
-Older experienced workers replaced with younger ones
-College tuition rates continuously rising
-Americans driven out of STEM
-Wage stagnation
