Just to say, the idea that an algorithm could be used like a magic wand to solve the exam problem is exactly the same kind of fundamentally flawed magical thinking as believing an app could ‘solve’ the track and trace challenge.
It’s the idea that tech and data can take the place of humanity, intelligence and bloody hard work. It’s very rarely true.
And yes, this does have Cummings’ muddy footprints all over it.
The tech should be *adding* to the hard work and intelligence, supporting and supplementing the expertise, not replacing either.
