@MarjorieDecker pressured the rep who was supposed to introduce 100% renewables amendment into dropping it. She thinks her legislative “territory” is more important than our generation’s future. Now there’s not even an amendment to vote on.
@tomtipagolden has refused to let significant climate legislation pass his committee for years. The 100% renewables bill was killed in the TUE committee last week. He doesn’t want to upset his fossil fuel donors so he tells us he “doesn’t like our approach.”
@SpeakerDeLeo prevents any legislation he doesn’t like from coming to a vote. He finally decided to allow a vote on a climate bill this week, but it has none of the substance we’ve been asking for all year.
