“The first three nights of the DNC reveal that the Democratic Party is employing the same strategy that was used in 2016—building an anti-Trump coalition, rather than offering... change for America.”
“...Biden cannot win the election by riding on Obama’s coattails... Biden and the Democrats have struggled throughout the convention to communicate a positive, cohesive narrative surrounding Biden’s candidacy that is more than a reaction to Trump...
While it is evident that Harris will be an effective attack dog for Biden throughout the campaign, it is also clear from Harris’ speech that she, too, does not have a consistent vision for the country other than opposition to Trump.
And to be sure, the Democrats banking on opposition to Trump to win the election—instead of focusing mainly on policy-oriented promises to middle-class voters, particularly those who grew disenchanted with the party in recent years—is eerily reminiscent of the 2016 election.
Indeed, in terms of what did not work tonight, Hillary Clinton’s speech reminded many Americans why they chose not to vote Democrat in 2016.
‘For four years, people have said to me, ‘I didn’t realize how dangerous he was.’ ‘I wish I could go back and do it over.’ Or worst, ‘I should have voted.’ Clinton said.”

Remember the heady days of 2020? Progressives trained by the richest universities in the land suddenly had the chance to remake America in their image, the way they had always dreamed of doing.
The result was so obvious and crushing a failure that one is no longer supposed to talk about it.
Four years later, the power elite have discovered that their cosplay revolution is seen as merely ridiculous. Minority groups don’t want the new names that have been issued to them.

Overall crime in New York City dropped in 2023 over 2022; we’re still the “safest big city in America,” as Mayor Adams boasted recently — but that’s cold comfort when we’re still far behind 2019, the last year before the destructive effects of our criminal-justice “reforms” made themselves visible.

In a 9-0 decision, the Supreme Court ruled states cannot use section 3 of the 14th Amendment to kick Donald Trump off state ballots over his alleged “insurrectionist” actions on Jan. 6, 2021.
Learning that state officials aren’t empowered to simply toss leading presidential candidates off ballots came as a great surprise to many incredulous left-wingers.
