Obama was a piece of shit. He immunized rich people stealing people's houses, increased drone murders 3X, vastly deliberately increased fracking & turned Libya into a place with slave markets.

And those are just a few of the shit things he did.
Obama was also worse on whistleblowers than Bush II, by the way.

He really was walking human garbage and did vast harm. People who think otherwise are either clueless or garbage human beings themselves.

You have terrible leaders in part because you lie to yourselves about them.
I'm too old for this shit, and I already burned my bridges, then dropped nukes on them (that was foolish of me, honestly, but it's done, so fuck it.)

So, no, I'm not going to pretend that people like Obama and Clinton are anything better than war criminals.
and yes, Trump and Bush II are also war criminals and Bush II, at least, is worse than Obama. (Trump, otoh, has not actually yet started any new wars, though he has bombed and droned like a maniac.)

They're all evil. Comic book evil. That this is unclear to you is the problem.
I find Americans squealing about Trump rather amusing sometimes, because he comes closest to treating Americans the way Americans have treated foreigners in the countries they've invaded and embargoed of medicine and so on.

Trump is what you deserve, Americans. DESERVE.
Now I don't believe in giving people what they deserve. Only fools ask for what they deserve. I worked hard to help America and Americans and to get them to be nicer to themselves because I understand that a lot of American abuse of others is because Americans abuse themselves.
I want people treated better than they deserve (with those who shouldn't have power having that power removed).

But that doesn't mean America didn't spend decades deliberately creating the circumstances that allowed Trump to become President.

Americans worked hard for Trump.
There is a simple rule that you never have more power than actual responsibility. If you have no responsibility for Trump (or Obama, or American war crimes) then you have no power to stop Trump or American war crimes.

it is that simple.
Now, if what you want to say is "America is an oligarchy and I actually am powerless" that's intellectually respectable. Fine.

But people who say that voting matters, etc... are not making that argument.

And there remains the question, how did America become an oligarchy?
because whatever you think of America in 1960, it wasn't an oligarchy in the way it is now. Americans did have to vote in politicians who paved the way for their current situation.
But then, that's always how it is in Republics. They become oligarchies or autocracies with the consent of the people.
