I am extremely impressed by the reporters at CNN who managed to "obtain" this email and pass it off as their own without credit or a link a mere 10 hours after we publicly posted it in an article

Earlier, Twitter told us that it was only locking accounts that posted private personal information. The screenshot I tweeted has no personal information in it and was censored, it just shows how an internal Twitter tool

Detroit police have been one of the most public supporters of facial recognition software. Last week, the NYTimes and ACLU told the story of Robert Julian-Borchak Williams, a man falsely arrested using facial recognition tech.
Today, Detroit's police chief revealed that the software it uses doesn't identify the correct suspect a shocking 96% of the time.

It's crucial to understand who this is used against. Detroit has regulated facial recognition use, meaning the DPD has to put out a weekly report about its use. This year, it has been used EXCLUSIVELY against Black people

I spent yesterday afternoon talking to oil traders about how to get some of this sweet sweet oil and learned that all of this is much dumber than I ever imagined vice.com/en_us/article/…
I promise this will answer your questions, such as "how many swimming pools do I need to store the oil" and "where do we buy the guillotines" better than any Bloomberg or NYTimes explainer will
Basically what has happened is a bunch of investors who do not know what they'd do should they get stuck with thousands of barrels of oil are panic selling before they get stuck with that oil at 2:30 pm today, because there is no demand for oil and no one is buying
