✅Total size Complex (3 fires) is 302,388 acres (up from 219,067)
✅15% containment total
✅3 deaths (Napa Co.) 1 (Solano Co.)
✅4 civilian injuries

📌Critically dry fuels due to moderate drought. These fuels ignite easily from embers and heat spots from old lightning strikes
📌Highly active fire behavior is expected today
📌Extreme fire behavior w/spotting

📌Fires spreading up to 1.5/mi per hour, up to 25ft flames
📌Fire spots are jumping 1/2 mile ahead on average
📌Fires make runs and spread in multiple directions

#HENNESSEYFIRE
Started by lightning strike 8/17 near Lake Hennessey. This fire has finally merged with all the other fires in the area - Gamble, Green, Aetna, Markley, Spanish, Morgan and Round. It continues to spread.

Lots of activity today focused on Pope Valley, Berryessa Estates, north Monticello Rd, and Lake Curry.
