Keith Davidson represented Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal when they separately approached Trump for hush-money payments in 2016.

Yesterday he described how the arrangements came about. Davidson also testified that it was his belief Trump was behind the deals.

Daniels later sued Davidson, alleging that after she signed the NDA, Davidson breached his obligations as an attorney by colluding with Cohen to take actions that benefited Trump. They settled.

McDougal made similar claims against Davidson.

John Ratcliffe is terminating his congressional campaign.

But not before it paid his wife $43,500.

And paid $11,000 to the firm that designed his personal website.

And repaid him $225,00 for a loan.

She doesn't appear to have any other campaign-finance experience.

The campaign paid her $43,500 to manage its sleepy books.

That's 36% of its total spending.
