@BACP I just watched your about completing the SCoPEd questionnaire. I would like to share with you my personal experience of your engagement with me as one of your members. I speak for myself only, a member that wants to engage with you #SCoPEd 1/
@BACP You were questioning, wondering about the lack of engagement from members. On your Youtube page, you have posted (this year) a total of 3 #SCoPEd related videos lasting less than 6 minutes combined with no substantial updates or information to help me make sense of it 2/
@BACP so I do not feel you have engaged with me through your YouTube platform. When I go to your website bacp.co.uk there is nothing on your main page about #SCoPEd, so if I did not know about it I would have no idea this issue is in consultation at the moment 3/
@BACP looking at your website, bacp.co.uk wanting to find anything #SCoPEd related, I have to search it. A direct link to the #SCoPEd consultation + info could be placed on your website's main page. All of your members would see it upon arriving at your site. 4/
@BACP when I look at the emails I have received from you regarding #SCoPEd this year, I counted two. One about filling out the questionnaire, the other today reminding about it. I may have missed the one you sent when you actually published the latest iteration on July 14th 5/
@BACP so I do not feel very engaged by you through my emails. There is no mention of #SCoPEd in your latest email -Updates for Members on August 7th. It would have been nice to have a prompt about #SCoPEd there for the people that might have missed other emails. 6/
@BACP when I look at your Twitter account. I only see two tweets regarding #SCoPEd since July -one on 16 July about the document accessible version and another one on 12 August about the "Myths Busters" which I have already expressed to you my views on this. 7/
@BACP in your Twitter account I could not find the July 14th tweet about publishing the latest #SCoPEd iteration. So I may have missed a few tweets here and there. I do not feel you have engaged with me through your twitter account to understand what #SCoPEd means to me 8/
@BACP Your Twitter account tweets out multiple times per day and yet only a few tweets about #SCoPEd, please tell me why? I have never received any formal letter from you stressing the importance of this consultation/iteration. Some members may only be reachable by post. 9/
@BACP I am looking at your facebook.com/groups/2766570… #bacp members' community page which has been put on pause since June 19th due to issues around rules and moderation - relating to politics and race. So there is no engagement from that source anymore. 10/
@BACP I am looking at your linkedin.com/company/bacp/ page and there is not one single mention of #SCoPEd there. So I feel that you are not engaging with me through that platform either. 11/
@BACP as other colleagues have mentioned already here, I do not enjoy having to tweet at you my experience of being part of your MB. I do not find your engagement consistent, you are not answering questions in person. I want to digest this document with you, together. 12/
@BACP I am looking forward to getting your diary of #SCoPEd event dates so that I can protect those times. I DO want to hear from you. You surely have the resources to create a campaign to reach ALL your members in all of your platforms? 13/
@BACP this is me trying to engage with you around #SCoPEd. You are very good at so many things that I have found invaluable but something is happening with #SCoPEd and we need to talk about it. 14/14
