The plan is super confidential... so please don't share it.
Step one is to have the greatest startup podcast in the world: @TWiStartups (it already is IMO)
We are right up there with @techstars & @ycombinator -- but not clearly #1 yet (lots of work left to do).
I hate raising funds, but I'm getting better at it. Candidly, I don't like the dog and pony show... it's my weakest link in this chain.
We need to do 100-200 deals per year for $500k to $1m each on average.
We did six deals last month for ~$500k each... we are on our way.
This means we will do ~200 deals a year and over the next decade, I will go from ~250 investments to ~2,250 investments.
If that drops from one unicorn every 25-35 investments to one in 100, I will end my career in 2030 with ~26 unicorn investments.
No one has ever done that.
Those are my 2 professional goals left:
- be the greatest startup investors of all time
- bring a championship to the knicks
That's it... that's my plan.
How could I make it better?
