While I don't disrespect the MORALITY of people that make it, there is no argument more purely silly than looking at a population of 350,000,000 people and saying "NINE deaths due to (X) is UNACCEPTABLE, You Monster!!!"

#Last - the point ISN'T that we shouldn't fight for The Light, but that a toll like "9" is not a LOGICAL justification for moves like police abolition or youth COVID lockdown. If we don't destroy social order in response to 3M deaths EVERY year, we can't to meet each new threat.
