Calling your *Patients* either by their bed number/ Disease condition/ medical diagnosis; e.g

“Uncle Gonorrhea” or “Bed 4”

Like some Nurses do, is all ^shades of wrong!^ Unprofessional and grossly unacceptable!

It is very important that you call your patients by their NAMES

Not only because... It is the right thing to do, but because it also makes your patient trust you!
& helps establish a good Nurse-Patient relationship!

Except in cases where Patient’s confidentiality is paramount
as when discussing the patient with the patient care team and a non-team member is around. Then you can call by their bed space. Otherwise it is a very unethical practice and should not be practiced by real Nurses,,,

If you forgot sneakily move closer and look at the ID band!
It is a very wrong practice to call your patients by a disease condition, or bed number right beside them or even during handover!

These little things are what separates from a Quack! If found guilty, please stop, and pass the message!

Stay amazing,
Cheers 🥂

1,FAILURE TO CREATE A STUDY PLAN;

Just like the popular saying “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail” studying for any exam, without the right study plan, is simply you setting yourself up for FAILURE…
*You must identify your strength & weaknesses
*Recognize your study… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
2, LACK OF RIGHT STUDY MATERIALS;
2-3 solid study materials are good! A TEXT BOOK IS A MUST!

3, FEAR AND LACK OF CONFIDENCE;
Many have watched so many NCLEX takers reviews and have been filled with so much fear about the exam that has now messed with their confidence!
