Messing around with the idea of *atomic journaling* today.

... There are so many journaling/reflection prompts that I love.

And they often come as a *set* of questions...

— 5 minute journal
— Gratitude journal
— Morning journal

1/
And I’ve heard so many great questions or prompts to reflect on over the years.

But I find when I take one and focus on it routinely... it grows stale, and I don’t resonate the same with the prompt.

So I mix it up, but then I lose the thread, the consistency.

What if love is a *library* of prompts.

And each day I peruse the library for ones that *resonate*... that I’m pulled to reflect on.

And to be able to see which ones I use more than others, and responses to the same question and how they change.

A time machine of reflection.
Each day I may pick a few from the library, but the selection of questions may vary day-to-day.

But the thread within each question is maintained.
For setup:

[[Journaling Prompts]] as my library.
— all prompts that I find/like go here.

Routine:
— I open this page in the *sidebar* and skim it for resonance.
— When a prompt inspires me, I block reference it to my daily page.
What I want*

Typos are a PEST when you’re writing in real time haha
Then, over time I can see which questions I’m pulled to more often by looking at the number of times the block has been referenced.

AND I can view all instances of that question over time by viewing those references!

*Atomic Journaling* — I think it’s gonna work!
