Communism wants destroy the traditional family. Its love & mutual loyalty hinders the advance of the socialist collective society. It must redirect that love to the state.
Don’t believe me? Here is Trotsky & another Soviet writer from the 1920s (my thread has more quotes)

Martyn Liadov, rector of the Sverdlov Communist University: “Is it possible to bring up collective man in an individual family? No. The sooner the child is taken from his mother and given over to a public nursery the greater is the guarantee that he will be healthy.” (1925)

Zina Zinovieva, pioneer of Soviet education, wife of leading Bolshevik Grigory Z: “We must rescue children from the harmful influence of family life ... we must nationalise them.
To oblige the mother to give her child to the Soviet state - that is our task”

Communism hates the trad family: “Under the socialist system when there will no longer be a domestic household ... children will be brought up by society from the day of their birth ... In a future socialist society it is clear that the family must wither away” (Sov author 1927)

Marx despised “the disgusting bourgeois claptrap of (the) hallowed correlation of parents and child.”
Lenin was contemptuous of “the decay, corruption and filth of bourgeois marriage.” They HATED the family.

Realising that this hatred for the family has driven the left since Marx helps us to understand currents in education even today. Teachers ‘know best’, parents should not interfere esp in the LGBT issues where the left demands priority over parents views.

These ideas are *foundational* in the building of socialist society. Every Marxist, Leninist or Trotskyite who truly understands the theory they have signed up to will subscribe to them. If they disagree they need to dump the rest of their faith too.
