fight when they see police even when they do nothing. Why am I talking about this? Because one of the most influential people in the black community is doing EXACTLY what these parents do. But on a larger scale. Imagine your kids idol telling them over and over that devoid of any
behavior, police are here to kill them. Simply because of their skin. What kind of impact will that have if they ever truly come into contact with police? Whether it's a simple traffic stop or an actual crime, you think instilling this fear in them will help? Will they practice
compliance? Or will the fear drown it out. Will it make the encounter any easier for the cop dealing with this person molded in fear? This I simply cannot stand for, I'm tired of people so far removed from the hood because of their financial status, that have never had a bad
police encounter, making my job harder by negatively influencing the youth that I have to deal with on a daily basis. It has to stop, police are not the bad guys, every incident involving a white cop does not make them racist! Every black person is not a criminal and officers do
not view them that way, but when a cop and a criminal do meet, this martyring of the latter no matter what, can't continue to happen. I encourage any and everyone to do a ride along with a cop, on a night shift. Get a feel, see what the job entails and if interested, become one..
...and change the so called perception the media and elites try to throw out there. Be the change you want to see! That's called action and not talking!
