@myWSNA represents the professional interests of more than 103,000 of my fellow registered nurses who live and work in Washington. While nurses are on the front lines, WSNA fights along with them for better working conditions, fair compensation, and patient safety.
"We appreciate your leadership in seeking this office. We know you will be a strong advocate for the people of the 4th legislative district and for nurses everywhere. Your history as an advocate in your community will be an asset to the State House."
"We look forward to working with you as you work to advance nursing and patient safety priorities and to advocate on behalf of the 4th legislative district and all Washington residents."

Today is the 98th anniversary of my grandfather getting on his single speed Rugby bike, and with his younger brother and a childhood friend heading out from their home in Mattoon, Illinois on a young man’s dream to the west coast.
Their record 62 day adventure to San Francisco set in motion the future of generations to come. The amazing story of their endeavor is my family’s legacy – the spirit of adventure, determination and fortitude, of reaching for dreams and never saying never.
My grandfather has been my inspiration whenever I set out to accomplish a bold, difficult task. So I’ve had him on my mind a lot lately. It’s fitting that I think of him especially today.
Thank you to @AdamHSays at @TheAtlantic for a thoughtful conversation about how this pandemic means we're definitely not in a time of politics as usual.
My priority personally, professionally, & as a future elected official is to make sure that the people in my community are being cared for and getting what they need.
While campaigning may not look the same, it's clear that now more than ever we need a competent and compassionate leader representing us.
