Now, 5 months later, even mainstream economists are starting to see the gravity of what an estimated 20% GDP contraction, without a bottom-up bailout, would mean for the most vulnerable.

The most effective solutions were obvious from the start: Like Sanders' $2,000/month during the pandemic plan, which would have helped counter the GDP contraction, while providing relief to the most vulnerable. 8/12
