Read below for some timeless principles.
If you just follow everything you are taught blindly and conform to all the norms of society.
Without thinking for yourself and establishing your own set of principles.
You will fall into the trap.
Dead end job.
Poor diet & health.
Eyes glued to the news in a constant state of outrage.
Mental health in shambles.
What you want to occupy the limited time you have here on earth.
Here’s a quote from the great Socrates:
“The unexamined life is not worth living.”
Think about your life.
Reflect on what’s truly important to you.
Examine what others have done that you look up to.
This life is short and spending it the same way everyone else in your town is, just because that's, where you were born, is stupid if you ask me.
Yea, yea.
We’ve heard this one before.
But do you actually do it?
Hear me out for a second.
You don't realize how much your life changes when you stop taking the important things in life for granted.
You have lungs to breathe.
Legs to walk on.
Hands to scroll and type.
You have clean water and access to food.
You are in the top 5% of the world.
Your brain is evolutionally programmed to respond heavily to problems.
Because it meant life or death hundreds of years ago.
Because you don’t remind your brain about all the shit you have.
Be grateful and your life will only change for the better.
You know how easy it is for you to be nice to people?
Do you realize how many assholes there are in the world?
Why get sucked into such a shitty way of life?
Imagine all the people being rude to cashiers at the grocery store.
You know the difference you can make in someone's day just by being nice and giving a little smile.
It’s hard but make it a habit to smile in the faces of those that get angry at you.
Don't let small people that get angry about anything and everything penetrate your mind and affect your emotions.
Nobody respects someone whose word doesn’t mean shit.
You even subconsciously start losing respect for yourself.
These things hold more value than you think.
In business, family, friendship, brotherhood, ect..
It’s what people build partnerships on.
Own that shit.
Even if you need to suck it up once in a while and do things you don't want to do.
These things have a way of coming back to rewards you somehow.
Stop taking everything so seriously.
You literally share 98% of your DNA with monkeys and live on a floating ball in an infinite galaxy as far as we know.
Just relax.
Everything is gonna be alright.
It’ll make you a happier person.
It’ll make you more confident and more loved by your friends and peers.
And it will most certainly make you a better person.
A study showed:
"“Elderly people with positive attitudes have a more than 20 percent reduction in risk of death from cardiovascular disease and a more than 50 percent lower risk of death from all other causes.”
It literally heals your body from the inside.
So give it a try.
And if you got this far, I would appreciate a retweet on the first post.
