"I had a relative who died in the Holocaust, too. He fell out of a guard tower"

- SPD Lt. Seth Dietrich

(1/6)
This was a joke Dietrich made following an anti-bias training titled "Law Enforcement and Society: Lessons of the Holocaust."

(2/6)
On another day of the same training series, Dietrich also said "“If there’s one thing that I can take away from this training, it’s that we Germans know how to rally together for a cause.”
(3/6)
In his interview with OPA, Dietrich said he was reported by Officer Todd Novisedlak , who had some kind of beef with Dietrich.

(4/6)
As it turns out, Novisedlak was later fired for racist remarks.

On a side note: There was a famous high-ranking Nazi named Sepp Dietrich.

No relation (that we know of)
