I’m honestly baffled by the replies to this tweet. It’s just filled with people accusing CNN of trying to scare them and/or claiming this is all part of some elaborate plot to keep schools closed through November. Just... wtf is wrong with people?
We really have gotten to the point in our walled-off, siloed worlds of news consumption where some people simply refuse to process information that doesn’t confirm their preconceived beliefs.

I REALLY need people to stop this. Responding to everything by going “Bots!” is denial about how broken the information landscape is.
Also, please, I beg of you, learn what “bot” actually means before you go “That’s a bot! That’s a bot! Look at this screengrab I posted from bot detector dot com backlash drumpf is finished” or whatever.
