There is so much to be learned from this.

At least this, given the current propoganda and BS: Trump warns how horrible it will be in a Biden Admin.
Meanwhile this is going on, justifiably understood, under the provocation & world that Trump has created.
In the end two things are reported:
1. they had the wrong man.
2. but they have to save face, so they charge this fellow w resisting arrest.

There is a mounting pile of incidents like this.
We have not figured out who we are, nor why there is such a push back on such unnecessary brutality. And this fact alone is enough to call the American enterprise into question.

When Tr is finally made gone, the time of looking
will have to begin. It will be Trumps final punk on America, that we will have to spend so much time figuring out the thicket of lawlessness that has been unleashed... and the much harder project of figuring out how to heal
If it is even possible.

We have hardly healed from the
Civil War time from the 1860-1880s.

The election is necessary as a very first thing. But it should not be seen as the only thing necessary. After Trump, there remains what has been reified & congealed as Trumpism.

How shall we pull back into a lawful state after so much
lawlessness has been released?

The rot that has invaded out country w the advent of Trump, and finally, Barr and others, a cabal of low lights, did not happen in a healthy body... But one that was already sick.

It remains to be seen if we, America, have even the slightest
ability to recognize the syndromes, rather than simply attending to & being surprised by the symptoms.

We have entered into a clear historical pattern. It does not mean that the outcomes are pre-determined. It does mean that it will take extraordinary leadership,
and a remarkable depth in the "will of the people", to recover.

There is no "Again". There is no going back to a time when "it was better". Not from a Trumpian POV, nor from a nonTrumpian POV. What we have now is a past, from which we can learn, but ought not relive. A present
in which we have to be wiser than we are in order to navigate, and a future that needs a better star to follow.
In every vital, living, system there is a time of gathering, of creating something new, of becoming. Then the period of living, being, doing, working out the meaning of the era. And then another, when the existing system, once vibrant and radient w possibiilties becomes worn out
, riddled w corruption, stasis and the inability to cope w present realities. Factions and fractures emerge that the system cannot incorporate and still thrive.

We do not know exactly what stage we are in. I tend to think we are at the frontier between thriving & breakdown.
We probably have crossed over into the last stage.

What remains to be seen is if we have crossed over into the last stages of the last stage.

It is one thing to be diagnosed w cancer. Another altogether to find it is Stage 4.
I think we still have time to ponder the imperative of the "Third Ghost". We have a chance to ask "Are these the things that Must be, or only Might be.".

Seems to me we are just at that juncture of our national journey
